![]() As Catholic educators, we work to develop a partnership with parents to assure the success of our students and provide continuity between school and home. With a focus on educating the whole child, we address academics with a developmentally appropriate approach as we nurture the spiritual, social and emotional growth and well being of the kindergarten children of Saint John XXIII Catholic School Community. We are professional early childhood educators, intent on bringing an understanding of faith in God and knowledge of our Catholic Church to kindergarteners. Subjects covered will include: Religion, Language, Math, Science, Art and Social Studies. In addition, students will begin to have an option for Mass attendance as the year progresses. Daily Catholic activities, prayers, stories, projects, etc. Spiritual development is developed in ways meaningful to the child. Our curriculum provides opportunism for continuing age and developmentally appropriate instructional view learning on a continuum. ![]() All curriculum is defined by the Diocesan Schools Office of Early Childhood Standards/curriculums and by the State of Arizona. Kinder attributes and in depth conceptual ideas are reinforced throughout the daily curriculum and routine including extended math, science, language/pre-reading times, phonemic awareness and writing. This class is specifically designed to meet the needs of older students to develop kinder readiness who either do not meet the kinder age requirement or who could benefit from the gift of a year ahead of beginning kinder.
